Happily, I have gotten my life back (not that I really lost it) and am again feeling normal and balanced. The kids have returned to school and I have rediscovered my comfy routine. Now to guard the CR carefully. i want to share a couple pieces of mail I received in the past few weeks. First is a post card from Paris. This is delightful. ![]() This postcard is special not because it is beautiful, though it is, but because the sender is anonymous. I can not make out the signature and no return address is given. The message simply says, "Mrs. Duffy, Just a card all the way from Paris. Have a great day. :)" JUST a card all the way from Paris. It's more like, WOW! A card all the way from Paris! Weeks later I have the same warm feelings I initially had imagining a stranger in a distant place thinking of me and sending a postcard simply for the pleasure it gives. Thank you, anonymous card sender, you have made Mrs. Duffy quite the happy lady. The stamp is also enjoyable. ![]() ![]() Next is a letter from Anna. I was especially happy to receive Anna's letter because she has commented on Letter Matters before. When I saw the sender's name I hoped is was the same Anna and indeed it was. ![]() I was immediately struck by the beauty of her handwriting. Struck or seized with jealousy; I am not certain which. Everything about this envelope is beautiful. I love this stamp. Not only do I appreciate its traditional elegance, but I have an inexplicable fondness for the Queen. Anna's easy, conversational style is delightful, and like Kathleen, whom you have already met, she included a few goodies. I'll share more about that next time. For now, it is good to be back and thank you, Readers, for your letters.

Thanks for stopping by, Kathy! I now have your blog in my blog roll as a pleasant and inspiring place to visit. I just looove the envelope you made for Ms. Keenan. I'm just now practicing calligraphy again and your creativity is inspiring. I will visit your blog regularly!
