The excitement of the day is writing my first thank you note with a dip pen/flex nib. Were it realistic, I might never return to a "normal" nib as I find the flexiness to be heavenly. The length of time required to write with this nib is exceeded only by the drying time of the ink, an iron gall made by Old World Ink. I wrote this on a Rhodia Dot Pad. I may use this as stationery should I write a letter with this pen and ink. It is by no means an elegant stationery but the thickness of the paper supports the thick line of ink, the paper is super smooth, and the dots will help to keep my lines straight. Now, to whom shall I write first?

Thank you, Misty! Yes, Missive Maven, flex nibs are fun. This makes me consider searching out a wet noodle fountain pen. :o) I can't beat the price of a dip pen though.
